The Bold and the Beautiful Recap, Wednesday August 21: Thomas Rages Over Hope’s News – Detective Sanchez On The Case

The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Wednesday, August 21 finds Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) none too pleased when he finds out that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) wants to pull the plug on their marriage. Also, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) is worried about her daughter’s safety while Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Hope have a disagreement. Here’s what you need to know.

It begins at Brooke’s house, where Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) insists to Detective Sanchez (Jay Valdez) that Thomas had nothing to do with the death of Emma Barber (Nia Sioux). He claims that it was an accident. However, Detective Sanchez thinks that Thomas is hiding for a reason.

He also doesn’t like it that Thomas is not picking up his phone, which gives him reason to believe that he may be hiding something. Meanwhile, Brooke is worried that Thomas might do something dangerous. She’s worried about Hope’s safety.

Ridge admits that Thomas screwed up big time here but he doesn’t think that Thomas will do anything to jeopardize Hope’s life. Brooke doesn’t seem to believe him. Ridge gives Thomas a phone call again but Thomas doesn’t pick up.

At Vinny Walker’s (Joe LoCiCero) apartment, Thomas keeps telling himself that he won’t lose Hope because she is his wife. He also says that there’s no way that he is going to let her slip away again. Vinny looks at his friend rather concerned.

Thomas tells Vinny that he should go see her in person, but he doesn’t think it’s an idea. He also thinks that Liam brainwashed her. Thomas says that no matter what Hope is his wife and he won’t let that fact change. He says he will do whatever it takes to bring his family back.

At the cabin, Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) assures Hope and Liam that Thomas doesn’t have a chance when it comes to contesting the annulment. Justin is happy to help them but also wants to put all of this behind him, too.

He does add though there’s a possibility that Thomas might freak out when he finds out about the annulment. No one knows what he is capable of doing. Hope admits she regrets marrying him while Liam adds that he has deep issues. Hope picks up the phone to call Thomas because she wants to get this out of the way. This upsets Liam, who thinks it’s a bad idea.

Thomas answers Hopes’ call. He says right away that he misses her and that he never meant to hurt her. Hope tells him about the annulment with Thomas protesting right away that it will never happen. Hope tells him that he needs to talk to a lawyer because their marriage is over and that she never wants to speak with him again.
