‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ Recap Wednesday, May 20: Truce Time, Motives Questioned, RJ’s Pressure

The Bold and the Beautiful recap is in for Wednesday, May 20, 2026. In today’s episode, two men agree to a truce for the sake of the company. Meanwhile, motives are questioned.

Brooke Logan Forrester Explains

Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) says that her mother didn’t just let her down. She let herself down, too.

Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) explains she meant it in the beginning, but didn’t want to damage a father/daughter relationship.

Hope needed Brooke to step up for her. Once again, Brooke chose Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), Hope claims. 

Brooke says they got what they wanted. Hope didn’t get what she wanted, and now her line will die.

Hope says HFTF has been shelved so long her followers are losing interest. Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) forced her to fire her own brother! 

Brooke tries to calm her daughter down.

Hope thinks Brooke is mimicking Steffy.

It’s all a plot to kill HFTF! This is all Brooke’s fault, Hope declares.

Brooke says there are ups and downs in fashion. Brooke is sure Ridge will bring the line back when the time is right.

Then, Brooke tells her mother she got freaky with Ridge after he talked to Steffy. Hope is appalled!  

Zende Forrester Dominguez’s Dilemma

Over at Forrester Creations, Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz), Ridge, RJ Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti), and Eric Forrester (John McCook) analyze designs on the runway.

Logan will never have this kind of quality!

The model admits the zipper is hard to reach.

They are going to adjust that and send her away. Eric, Ridge, and RJ think this is so much fun. 

Zende says there are a lot of people working on Couture.

He misses his autonomy.

They understand and Ridge insists Zende is appreciated. RJ suggests Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) design a necklace to accompany the dress. 

RJ Forrester’s Pressure

Over in the design office, Zende asks RJ about his long-term plans at FC. RJ says he’s getting “vibes” from Zende.

RJ says they are cousins.

He wants to learn from him, not upset him.

Zende likes being a team player, but it seems like his team has dissolved. Zende recalls all the girls gawking at RJ as he walks down the hallway.

Zende admits RJ is really good at sketching. RJ says that sounds like high praise. The man shake on it.

Brooke and Ridge talk. The blonde explains how upset Hope is about everything. Ridge is sure Hope will be fine. 

Katie Logan Spencer’s Motivation

At Logan, everyone worries about what is happening. Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) isn’t certain what she wants.

Whatever Hope decides will impact Logan, one way or another.

If Hope joins Logan, it could destroy the family. Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) mocks Brooke’s voice, saying she’ll let down her destiny. 

Katie and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) admit it’s likely.

Logan might be looking really good to Hope right now, Liam reasons. 

Bill and Katie leave. Hope marches in, full of tears.

Liam assumes Ridge chose Steffy over Brooke. Hope says her mother even sided with Steffy.

What does this mean for HFTF, Liam wonders.

Hope isn’t sure but her mother is gullible and bedded Ridge after denying her request! Liam says that things can be different for Hope, if she just joins Logan.
