B&B recap for Wednesday, October 16 reveals that Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) tells Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) about her symptoms.

Taylor credits Ridge with saving her. Ridge apologizes for Brooke seeing the chakra thing.

Brooke still doesn’t understand exactly what they were doing. Why was Taylor straddling Ridge? 

Hope looks at fabrics at Forrester Creations. Liam slithers in the door. It’s late, what is Liam doing there? Liam has something to show Hope.

Apparently, Liam is supposed to work on a media splash page for Hope For the Future. Liam didn’t realize this would turn into such a personal project. Hope looks awkward.

B&B Recap – Ridge Forrester Explains

Ridge rambles about the misdiagnosis. Eventually, Ridge gets to the part about Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech).

Ridge has to admit that he got the healer to help Taylor’s emotional side. Ridge stammers as he tries to explain this to Brooke in a way that doesn’t sound scandalous.

Brooke reminds Ridge that he didn’t tell her what was going on. Taylor continues telling Steffy the story.

Taylor brings up Grace figuring out the misdiagnosis. “My heart isn’t failing, it’s just… broken.”

The Bold And The Beautiful Recap – Liam Spencer’s Video Tribute

The Bold and the Beautiful recap reveals that Hope is ready to be impressed. Liam is impressed by Hope every day. Liam presses play on the laptop.

Images of Hope in various power poses play across the screen. A robotic female voice tries its best to sound humanish.

Hope watches and listens as the robotic woman talks about how Hope’s name is synonymous with creativity and calls the designer a visionary. 

Then, the video takes a different turn. Instead of focusing on the fashion line and the message behind it, the video talks about Hope’s dedication to her kids, and family photos splash across the page.

Liam made sure to include his image in the family photos. It would be sweet if they were together, it’s creepy because she already said no. 

Going back to the video, Robotica ends the video by declaring Hope IS the future! Hope is touched as electronic applause rings out through the speakers.

Liam tries to explain, but he is stuttering a lot. Liam is really trying to change Hope’s mind. 

Taylor thinks her next cardiogram will be improved after the chakra healing. Steffy can see the difference.

Taylor realizes there is a place in medicine and science for holistic work. Steffy asks about Ridge and the chakra healer.

Taylor says Ridge was really committed to her well-being. Steffy doesn’t understand why Brooke was involved. Taylor explains she just showed up.

Taylor omits the part where she was riding Ridge in the name of healing.

The Bold And The Beautiful Recap – Wednesday, October 16, 2024

Ridge tells Brooke that it was all for Taylor’s healing. Ridge says Taylor had a breakthrough! 

Hope appreciates the presentation. However, Hope already said no. Liam knows but they shared something special.

Liam says, “Hear me out,” and then passionately kisses Hope without warning. Hope pushes Liam away. 

Brooke asks if Ridge even knows what a chakra is. Ridge talks about mutual awareness. Brooke brings up Taylor sitting on Ridge’s lap.

Brooke wants Ridge to explain the pose. Ridge tries to explain it without it sounding seductive. Ridge brings up “breathing as one.”

Brooke says Ridge has now done something with Taylor he’s never done with her. Ridge apologizes.

Steffy brings up Brooke. Taylor says she has more important things to focus on. Gratitude and knowing she’s going to be okay.

Taylor also says love and credits Ridge for being a rock through this. Taylor says it wasn’t about reuniting or getting back together, they worked through stuff.

Including the loss of Phoebe Forrester (MacKenzie Mauzy). Steffy sobs. 

Taylor adds that she saw Ridge in Monte Carlo. Taylor says the timing wasn’t right and Steffy understands why.

Taylor feels like a whole new woman now. Steffy makes Taylor promise she’ll stick around this time.

Taylor wants to live her best life now. They hug.

Brooke tries making out with Ridge by using a similar pose as the chakra healer. Brooke tells Ridge they need to breathe as one.

They kiss and make out. Brooke is smiling and Ridge isn’t resisting, but something just feels off about this.
