A Six-Minute Preview Does Not Disappoint

The first six minutes of Season 2, Part 1, which drops on August 6, seem exciting if you love the paranormal combined with an element of horror. Having successfully mastered her psychic abilities, Wednesday Addams set off on a plane to hunt down a serial killer. After an amusing security encounter at the airport, she went off to do justice her way.

Unfortunately, the security people at the airport took away most of her various weapons. But when she found The Kansas City Scalper (Haley Joel Osment), things didn’t pan out quite as he expected. Using her quirky, animated hand called Thing, the sentient, loyal companion attacked the doll-making killer at a crucial moment. So, she managed to get free.

Hyped Up Audience 

Over a quarter million viewers watched the six-minute teaser within an hour of iot dropping, and thousands of comments followed. Hardly anyone complained, and it seems that most of them feel hyped about the Netflix show. One fan wrote, “I’m really excited for the full thing to come out!”

Another happy fan loved the TSA security scene where, ironically, amidst all her weapons, he was upset about her sunscreen. There is humor, as well as scary things. They commented, “I like how the TSA officer was more annoyed by the sunscreen.”

More appreciative comments were aimed at Thing, the hand. Here’s a response to that: “Am I the only one who found the hand beating up the guy like absolutely hilarious[?]”

Here’s another approving reaction: “3 years later and you guys decided to make a 2nd season of this series, I’m hyped I love how Jenna Ortega plays Wednesday Addams very well, I can’t wait since I watched all of Season 1.”

Hyped About Lady Gaga As Well

Netflix fans already knew that Lady Gaga would do a cameo in Season 2. And in the comments, someone mentioned that as well. They wrote, “JENNA ORTEGA WAS BORN TO PLAY THIS ROLE. EEEKKK! SUPER HYPED FOR SEASON TWO. AND THEY GOT LADY GAGA!!!??? GAGGED. I LEGIT CANNOT WAIT.”

Deadline reported that this week, when the six-minute preview dropped during the Tudum Event, fans found out that Lady Gaga shot her cameo “in Ireland in one day.” The outlet noted, “At the celebration, Gaga performed an original song that will be featured on this season’s soundtrack.”
