It’s natural for a father to want to help his son. It’s understandable that Ridge hasn’t taken the stance his wife has where Thomas is concerned.

Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) not only sees Thomas as a threat to her family and herself, she’s been directly threatened by him when the two recently met alone at her mega mansion.

Ridge has come to understand that Thomas acted amorally regarding the Beth Spencer (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson) arc. However, Kaye’s character also forced Thomas to acknowledge that he was behind Emma Barber (Nia Sioux) on Mulholland Drive, witnessed her car plunge off the side of the road, and then didn’t help her afterwards.

B&B Spoilers – Thomas Forrester Needs Intensive Mental Health Treatment

In order Thomas turn his life around, he’ll need intensive mental health treatment, which likely would includes therapy, medicine, and placement in a facility for a period of time as a doctor would determine.

Ridge has seemingly convinced Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo) that their son is basically okay, or he’s withheld information from her as he did, in a different way, with Brooke.

Taylor is an esteemed psychiatrist, who probably would facilitate proper care for Thomas if she was aware of the state her son is in. But B&B has written this character out, placing her in Europe at the moment. So, Taylor is said to only be having phone conversations with Thomas, which Ridge considers as therapy.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Enabling Makes Matters Worse

Ridge is deeply naive in believing that he can help heal Thomas in knowing that his son is a criminal. Shielding Thomas from justice didn’t result in an epiphany, but a recalculation on the part of Atkinson’s character.

Thomas wants Brooke out of his dad’s life and the Logan family out of Forrester Creations. A battle will being when Ridge recognizes what his son is doing. At that soapy moment all B&B bets will be off, as Thomas will see himself as isolated and become fully desperate.
