The war between Brooke and Thomas intensifies in the next few weeks. It isn’t enough to ask that Hope get guardianship of Douglas. B&B spoilers suggest that the Logan women have something more long-term in mind. They want Thomas to completely give up his parental rights so “Lope” can raise Douglas.

Even though Brooke justifies it by saying Douglas is better off with Hope, she has another reason for pushing this so hard. Part of her wants to get revenge, a way to make Thomas pay for keeping Hope and baby Beth apart.

As fans know, Hope already has a bond with Douglas. She is a mother figure to the little boy. The child lives in a world in which his father is unpredictable, manipulative and doesn’t put his best interests first. Hope does the opposite and gives Douglas love, patience and security.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers indicate that Hope will ask Liam an important question. She wants Douglas to be a permanent part of their family. Not only is this a big decision, but Liam just witnessed Hope’s demands in regards to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and baby Beth. He seems conflicted about his own future with Hope, and now he has to consider how Douglas will fit into that.

Liam might also be concerned that Hope is taking on too much. She just got her daughter back and is still adjusting to being a mother. Plus, what will happen if Thomas loses his parental rights? They already have issues with the troubled young man. They don’t need any more drama or chaos affecting their family.

B&B Spoilers – Thomas Forrester Fights Back?

B&B spoilers hint that Thomas won’t just hand Douglas over just because Brooke and Hope tell him to. In fact, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) isn’t happy after learning Thomas is being “coerced” into giving up his parental rights. Then, he goes into an outrage rage when he discovers that his own wife, Brooke, is the mastermind behind the plan.

Ridge loves his children and desperately wants to help Thomas get on the right path. Losing custody of Douglas could derail that plan. It seems likely that Ridge will use all of his resources to help Thomas keep his son. Even if that means going to war with the woman he loves.
