But Sheila does not want random interactions, like the one with Finn while she was savoring the menu at Il Giardino. She wants back into the cliff house, where fans and Hayes know she was in the recent past.

Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) prevented Sheila from entering the cliff house through the back door. She was intent on seeing Hayes. Deacon’s intervention created an awkward moment with Steffy, but he talked it away and later scolded Sheila.

Devoted fans recall Sheila achieved her goal the second time she went to the cliff house. Brown’s character picked up Hayes from his playpen. The joy she felt was contrasted against Finn being on a work call in another room.

Sheila returned her grandson to where he had been and left before Finn caught her. She is likely to use the front door for her next visit.

Bill told Steffy that she would not be reporting Sheila to the police during a confrontation in the cliff house after the death hoax was revealed. Of course, the equally stunning revelation was that Bill appointed himself Sheila’s protector.

Finn was told the woman he thinks of as his only mother, Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda), would also not report anyone to the authorities. Sheila advised that Li’s filing of a false death certificate and the other crimes she committed prevented her from blowing the soapy whistle.

But the blackmail Sheila and Bill possess has not expired. So, when she is ready, Finn’s biological mother will pointedly discuss her rights as his mother and Hayes’ grandmother.

Finn can keep working and spending time with those he considers to be his only family members. Steffy and do the same.

Together, this married couple can enjoy many happy memories in the inviting cliff house with Hayes and Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras Mckinlay). But Sheila seems destined to be part of that setting because she controls the agenda, at this point in the plot, on B&B.
