Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) is someone who Bill cares deeply about. As devoted viewers recall, they were going to have a child until Brooke’s sad miscarriage.

But Katie is surely the love of Bill’s life. The way Bill feels about Will Spencer (Finnegan George) is just one way that this opinion could be seen as more than a theory.

Katie loves Bill as well. But she’s realized that he’ll never change, no matter what he says, or how many times she needs to forgive his reckless choices. The fact that he broke trust with her sister Brooke, of all people, infinitely compounded the situation.

Assuming that Batie end means that Bill will likely dive into an emotional funk. Knowing that he has no one to blame but himself, he’ll grasp for something familiar.

Putting the sword back on implies that Bill has kept it. If he has that could also mean that he never actually eliminated that part of his personality, rather than having kept the item as a reminder of who he once was.
