The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Bridge’s Marriage Reaches Breaking Point – Plot To Take Douglas From Thomas The Last Straw

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will find himself in a terrible position. As B&B viewers know, he’s been separated from Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) ever since their epic fight after Ridge’s night with Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) came to light.

During that fight, Brooke told Ridge that when he came home, he needed to bring papers indicating that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) had signed his rights away to Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri).

Of course, Ridge has no intention of doing anything to take Douglas away from Thomas, and he knows the situation between himself and Brooke is looking pretty bleak right now. But he’s still hoping that Brooke will come around and realize that Douglas belongs with his father. From Ridge’s perspective, Thomas needs some help and guidance right now from his family, but he can relatively quickly get back to his son if he just puts in the effort.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Ridge Forrester Unaware Of Secret Plot

But what Ridge won’t immediately be aware of is the plot on the part of Brooke, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) to take custody of Douglas away from Thomas. According to B&B spoilers, Hope will ask Liam to help her give Douglas a permanent home with them, and she’ll even make a big pitch to Thomas saying that she should be the one to raise Douglas, not him.

Right around this time, Thomas will learn that Brooke, Hope, and Liam have a plan in place to permanently keep Douglas from him. Whether this will involve legal action remains to be seen – it could be that Hope and Liam will merely threaten Thomas with legal action, knowing that he probably won’t want all of his recent misdeeds to come up in court. But whatever the case, Thomas will learn about the plot to coerce him into giving up Douglas.

Of course, Thomas won’t be thrilled about the plot against him, and neither will Ridge when he finds out about it. According to B&B spoilers, there will be a major showdown between Ridge and Brooke, Hope, and Liam over the plot, and Ridge is going to be seriously peeved. He may point out that if Douglas was going to go live with anyone other than Thomas for the long-term, then it should be someone in the Forrester family, like himself or Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), not Hope and Liam.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers –  Brooke Forrester Made Her Position Clear

Ridge will probably feel like Brooke and her family are overstepping and trying to take control of a situation that should be a Forrester family matter, especially since he and Brooke aren’t even together right now. None of this is going to be good for “Bridge’s” marriage going forward, and it certainly won’t help to heal the rift. In fact, it will almost certainly widen the gap between Brooke and Ridge.

And the whole situation will also put Ridge right back into the position of having to choose his wife over his son once again. Brooke has made it pretty clear that if Ridge chooses to help Thomas in any capacity, then there will be major problems between them. Unfortunately, it just doesn’t seem like there is any way to start repairing “Bridge’s” marriage right now – if anything, it’s going to get much worse before it ever starts to get better.
