The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers and updates reveal Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) had good intentions. She was trying to be a friend to Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes). Zoe was having trouble with her relationship with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor). Zoe had been engaged to Carter. They were in a good place until Zoe flirted with Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz).

Carter felt betrayed by Zoe and called the engagement off. Zoe turned to Quinn to try to convince Carter to give her a second chance. Quinn had been trying to get Carter to forgive Zoe. Quinn feels guilty about the one night stand with Carter. She confided in her friend Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) about the unexpected one night stand. Shauna was shocked that Quinn would risk her marriage to Eric by sleeping with another man. She was even more surprised to find out that the man was Carter. Eric and Carter have a close relationship. Carter is the Chief Operating Officer at Forrester Creations. He works for Eric and his son Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). Shauna does not want Quinn to lose Eric. She knows that Quinn and Carter would be in trouble from Eric and Ridge.
