The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) has wanted Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) almost from the moment since he returned from New York following Caroline Spencer’s (Linsey Godfrey) sudden death.

Thomas was right to bring the son he and Caroline had back to Los Angles, California. That plot point included the recasts of Thomas and Douglas. It also established the flash point for Atkinson’s character going after Hope with reckless abandon until recently.

Thomas came across as a pathetic person who had no self-respect. He repeatedly threw himself at Hope and created opportunities to be around her while knowing she was in love with her husband, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).

Douglas was aimed, as an emotional weapon, at Hope. Thomas effectively enabled a bond between his son and Noelle’s character.

Thomas believed he could use Hope’s maternal feelings for Douglas and her agreement to adopt him as leverage to eventually win her heart. But that did not happen.

The voice-altering application hoax against Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) led to an epiphany, with Thomas finally realizing he had to change his ways.

B&B Spoilers – Hope Spencer Is The Bad Guy Now?

TPTB are positioning Hope as the bad guy or the bad lady, to be most accurate. She is having repetitive thoughts about Thomas and is teased to take a business trip with him that provides a one-on-one outlet for temptation.

It will be a major dynamic shift if Hope actually breaks her vows to Liam. The implications of doing so would imply an inevitable divorce.

But this could be nothing more than a teaser that goes nowhere. Alternatively, if nothing happens on that trip, it could further what will happen later this spring or summer.

Liam is having initial doubts about Hope’s intentions for the first time. To date, he has always blamed Thomas for creating drama and was right to do so.

Clifton’s character would be emotionally destroyed if Hope romantically connects with Thomas. The potential for that to happen projects to the prospect or realization of it actually happening.

Liam has been unnerved by his wife’s behavior, which included her inexplicable decision to approve of Thomas’ rehire at Forrester Creations. But no proof confirmed his suspicions. That could soon change on B&B.
