Brooke might only remember bits and pieces from New Year’s Eve. Brooke could recall being alone with Deacon when he came back to get his phone. It is teased that Brooke bans Deacon from her home. It is also stated that Deacon tries to figure things out, which suggests he doesn’t understand. Could Brooke mistakenly believe that Deacon took advantage of her again?

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Deacon will be confused as to why he’s suddenly banned from Brooke’s house. Hope doesn’t understand it either and tries to help her father. At the same time, Hope helps Brooke deal with her relapse. Even though Hope doesn’t initially connect the dots, she eventually will figure it out. It’s only a matter of time before Hope realizes that banning Deacon came right after Brooke’s relapse on New Year’s Eve.

Hope will want to find out the truth and could pester Brooke until she finally blurts it out. Hope will confront her father and ask if he intentionally got Brooke drunk. Of course, Deacon will deny it and tell Hope he only stopped back by to get his phone. Deacon will also tell Hope that he gave the delivery guy non-alcoholic champagne and not actual alcohol.

Hope always tends to give people the benefit of the doubt. Hope has really enjoyed reconnecting with her dad. So, she might be willing to believe him but knows her mother can’t be lying. So, Hope might investigate what happened that night. Could she stumble upon the truth and find out Sheila was responsible? It certainly is possible, but since this is a soap, the truth probably won’t come out for quite some time.

What could happen is that Deacon ends up losing his relationship with Hope. Deacon will be blamed for Brooke’s relapse. Hope will be furious that her mother’s sobriety was ruined by her own father. In order to clear his name, Deacon might have to play just as dirty as Sheila. We will have to keep watching the CBS soap to see what happens next with this storyline.
