Deacon’s decision to dump Sheila happened when they had a close call, with Hope dropping by his place and nearly catching the couple together.

Sheila once again trotted off to hide, but eavesdropped on Deacon and Hope’s talk. After hearing him with his daughter she realized that he needed to keep her in his life and tearfully agreed to leave him alone. She also claimed that she would make up with her son, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).

Sheila is a lot of nasty things, a stalker being chief among them. However, it has its benefits as she was able to save Kelly Spencer (Remington Evans) from drowning in the ocean all because she was stalking Finn. So there’s that.
