It is suggested that Deacon will struggle over what to do. On one hand, if he keeps Sheila’s secret, then he has a better chance to win Brooke’s heart. Deacon would also love to rub it in Ridge’s face.

If Deacon tells the truth, he will probably be punished by Sheila. Deacon knows what Sheila is capable of and doesn’t want to suffer the consequences. On the other hand, Deacon exposing the truth would earn him a lot of respect. Hope would be thrilled that her father did the right thing because that’s not his usual style.
