Fans seemingly don’t want to believe Sheila is really dead, especially since her presence on the show kept things exciting. Throughout the villain’s history on Bold and The Young And The Restless as well, they always found a way for her to be presumed dead but pop up alive.

That’s been over thirty years of Sheila off and on, after she left YR’s Genoa City she popped up in LA and was married to Eric Forrester (John McCook).

No wonder fans wonder if there couldn’t be a twist that shows Sheila once more isn’t really dead. The coroner did check and make sure the body he checked had only nine toes, didn’t he-and why didn’t they have her die with more finality?

That could be a clue-that the black clothed specter that Steffy Forrester-Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) stabbed was a Sheila imposter or doppelganger.

Said imposter could have even removed the appropriate toe in order to fool everyone, with the plot going sideways when Steffy stabbed her, and she may have been out for revenge.

Her revenge was planned against Sheila, not Steffy, and she could have been trying to frame Sheila for Steffy’s murder, not be killed herself!

Back in Genoa City, a prison warden named Sugar, originally played by Robin Mattsson was forced by Sheila to have plastic surgery to look just like her.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Things Went South Between Sugar And Sheila Carter

Sugar and Sheila originally were friends and even in cahoots on some things-but that went south when Sugar was forced to have that plastic surgery.

Sugar disappeared at some point after she and Sheila had kidnapped Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and then took off with baby Diana Carter (Weston and Mason Bodie).

Sugar had also been romantically involved with Nick Marone (Jack Wagner) at one time and that went by the wayside as well.

If Sugar wanted to frame Sheila for Steffy’s murder, and planned it so completely that she cut off the appropriate toe, that would be a reason for the positive ID.

Just that missing toe would identify Sheila even without DNA matching-but she didn’t expect to be killed; but where’s the real Sheila-maybe Sugar has her tied up somewhere!
