The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Douglas’ Big Decision, Thomas Blindsided, Hope Elated?

The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers and updates tease that Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) makes a big decision after staying with his aunt and uncle. Steffy and John “Finn” Finnegan (Jacqueline Macinnes Wood, Tanner Novlan) were glad to have him, but Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will be blindsided, while Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) is elated.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – He Didn’t Want To Have To Choose

Douglas didn’t want to have to choose between Thomas and Hope and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) when his dad decided to challenge Hope’s custody. That’s why he chose Aunt Steffy, but now after staying with her and Finn for a while he’s made a choice. He knows that questions will come from his dad as to how he came to his decision and why, but he’s choosing Hope-it seems the boy needs a mother.

Thomas has apologized and been in therapy for his manipulative ways, and how he at times has used his son as a pawn. Douglas was very young when some of that happened, but he still hasn’t forgotten this last time with using his voice changer app on his phone.

B & B Spoilers – Difficult Choices

Douglas, as a child, was faced with some difficult choices because his dad was expecting him to choose him only. Douglas didn’t want to give up his mom to spend time with his dad-Hope is the only mom he’s ever known. He was just a baby when his birth mother died, and doesn’t even remember her; he wishes he could have his dad and Hope together, perhaps, but Hope is with Liam. He wouldn’t want Baby Beth Spencer (Jordyn Lynn Ariza) to lose her dad so he could have his dad and Hope together. But now he sees that his dad might get his job back with Aunt Steffy and Hope so something has changed between them.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Afraid He Wouldn’t See His Dad If He Chose Hope Spencer

Douglas previously was afraid if he chose to stay with Hope and Liam he’d never see his dad again, whereas with Aunt Steffy he’d still see him and Hope and Liam. Since Liam is Kelly Spencer’s (Sophia Paras McKinlay) dad, that would come with the territory although Liam doesn’t visit her as often as he used to. Douglas just wants everyone to get along, and doesn’t want to be the reason that anyone’s fighting.

So now Douglas feels better about choosing Hope and Liam to live with, since Hope and Dad will probably be working together again. He wishes he could have both together but sometimes things don’t work out that way.
