B&B spoilers reveal that Hope’s anger and heartbreak don’t remove the love that she still has for Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). The one person that is troubled most by her sadness is Douglas. He wants nothing more than for Hope to be happy. However, a child’s solution can be quite different from how an adult would deal with the situation. In the new issue of Soap Opera Digest, it is confirmed that Douglas will try to help Hope be happy again. The boy has been concerned with Hope’s emotional state before. As a child, all he understands is that Liam seems to make Hope sad. He doesn’t really get how complicated adult relationships are, especially with Liam’s betrayal. So, Douglas thinks the best solution would be to simply replace Liam with someone that makes her happy. Douglas brings this up to his father and begs him to move in.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Will Thomas Forrester Move In?

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that in the past, Thomas would have jumped on Douglas’ request. He would have used to tug on Hope’s heart and get closer to her. While Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) thinks Thomas is still obsessed, it seems that he really has changed. This time, Thomas explains to Douglas why it’s not the right thing to do.

“Douglas is appealing to everything Thomas wants in his heart, but Thomas knows that is not the right choice in this situation. He is trying to do what’s best for everyone, but it tears Thomas apart.”

B&B Spoilers – Eliminating A Threat

Now, it’s probably a good thing Douglas mentioned this to Thomas and not anyone else. Imagine if Douglas brought it up to Brooke or Liam… they would have accused Thomas of using his son to manipulate Hope. There is already tension in the blended family because of Thomas’ history. In fact, Brooke desperately begged Liam to do something about Thomas. She truly believes that Hope needs to be saved before it’s too late. Now, if Brooke and Liam follow through with this, how will they explain that to Douglas?
