(Jacqueline MacInnes Woods) And while it might seem like everyone is respecting the young boy’s decision, it won’t take very long for a new war to erupt between the Forresters and the Logans.

Despite his age, Douglas Forrester was given a choice as to who he wanted to live with and he chose his aunt, Steffy Forrester, over the woman who has acted like his stand-in mother for the last several years, Hope Logan. While you certainly can’t blame the little boy for wanting to be with a blood relative, Hope Logan is understably distraught.

She loved that boy like he was her own and along with her husband Liam Spencer, (Scott Clifton) wanted to give him the kind of family life that his own father Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) could never give. That said, everyone seemed to be very happy until Thomas intervened and demanded to have custody of his biological son again.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that while Doulgas will certainly feel happy, safe, and content living with Steffy, his decision will fuel another fire between the Forresters and the Logans.
