The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers Friday, July 5: Xander Plots Thomas’ Takedown, Seeks Charlie’s Help – Hope Responds to Proposal

“The Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers for Friday, July 5, tease that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) will be left reeling after Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) cute yet creepy proposal. He’s an adorable kid, but it’s a shame to see Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) exploiting him like this. Douglas just asked Hope to be his new mommy and marry his daddy, so she’ll have to figure out how to respond.

Thomas will count on Douglas to keep his promise and not share his dad’s involvement. He’s hoping that’ll remain their little secret. “The Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers say Hope will struggle to wrap her head around all this. She’s definitely had a lot on her mind lately, so Douglas’ question-popping will be one more thing to mull over.

Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) moved on with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) awfully fast, which was thanks to the drugs Thomas scored. Now Hope will feel overwhelmed by the rising pressure to move on with Thomas. Douglas’ puppy-dog eyes and Thomas’ continued manipulation will definitely affect her. After Thomas makes this proposal official next week, Hope will decide to accept.

In the meantime, Xander Avant (Adain Bradley) will be on a mission. B&B fans know Xander suspects Thomas played a role in Emma Barber’s (Nia Sioux) death. “The Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers say Xander will work to prove it on Friday. He’ll seek a favor from Charlie Webber (Dick Christie), so this will undoubtedly tie in with something related to security.

Xander may count on the tapes offering some evidence against Thomas. He’ll be desperate for anything he can use to show Thomas’ guilt and perhaps hold over him. Xander needs to get some power back, so he’ll hope this is the way to make it happen. He may think he can end the Beth Spencer secret nightmare and get justice for Emma in the process.

Of course, getting firm proof may be impossible since only Thomas and Emma were out on the road. Even so, Xander could score enough to raise major suspicions. If Thomas car can be seen chasing after Emma’s in the parking lot, that’d be a nice start.
