The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Henry Joseph Samiri Continues To Kill It – Douglas Central To B&B’s Success

Henry Joseph Samiri (Douglas Forrester)

Henry Joseph Samiri (Douglas Forrester) continues to impress on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’. He, along with Matthew Atkinson (Thomas Forrester) became recast versions of existing characters earlier this year, with both alter egos becoming central to a complex and still evolving arc.

The choice to cast a younger actor is particularly important when the child is old enough to handle dialogue. After first appearing as the SORAS’d version of Douglas in March, Samiri continues to kill it on-screen. The resulting effect makes for a compelling storyline that now involves custody issues surrounding Thomas’ son.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Caroline Spencer’s Untimely Death Questionable

B&B fans wondered if Thomas caused, or was linked to Caroline Spencer’s (Linsey Godfrey) death, which was said to have resulted from a severe blood clot. Those thoughts remain purely speculative, however.

As Thomas and Caroline were off-screen when the death is said to have occurred, the audience doesn’t have the ability to confirm what actually happened in that instance. But Thomas’ willingly used drugs, that his childhood pal, Vincent Walker (Joe Lo Cicero) provided, on Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).

It must be added that, when given the opportunity, again through Vinny, Thomas did not drug Hope Forrester (Annika Noelle) during their honeymoon.

Thomas was in love with Hope, whereas Caroline was someone he claimed was simply a co-parent. So, it’s fair to wonder if he saw Godfrey’s character as a barrier to his later realized plans?

B&B Spoilers – Where Should Douglas Forrester Live?

Another set of great scenes had Samiri consoling Hope and telling Thomas that he missed him. Both actions were necessary because Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) was leading a charge, as provoked by his wife, to take Douglas from Hope and Liam. Ridge believes that the Forrester family will be able to heal in his father’s, Eric Forrester (John McCook), home.

Douglas was safe and happy living with the reforming ‘Lope’, but he’s not their biological child. They have no current legal claim to him, which Ridge reinforced during a tense confrontation that also resulted in Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) giving rings back to her current spouse.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Great Actors Create Memorable Soap

B&B fans will long remember these days. Samiri, in particular, is an outstanding child actor, who delivers his lines with succinctness and consistently elicits strong emotion from the audience.

Casting choices are obviously key to the success of any daytime drama, which produces content five days a week year-round. Just as Atkinson is scoring with his portrayal of Thomas, so too is Samiri the right choice to embody a poor soul who lost his mother and now needs the love and support that his off-center father hasn’t often been able to provide during this most challenging year.

I do wish the rest of that storyline was going more just and believable , so I could keep watching the young man, till he got to be a teenager, If they didn’t change his persona into something nasty… as they have done in the past and current…….
