The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Paul Hollis Hollister (Hollis W. Chambers) debuted on the show in 2016. Originally a background character, his role increased through his connection to Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) and romantic interest in Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang).

Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) has encouraged her sudden best friend, Brooke, to plunge back into the dating world. Taylor seems sincere in this new era of B&B, where viewers are severely suspending disbelief.

Fans are asked to accept that Allen’s character and Brooke have not only buried their differences but did so because of a mutual realization about Ridge. He is being blamed for the free will actions these past decades in what can be rightly termed soapy revisionist history.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – It Was Never All About Ridge Forrester

Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) extended absence from Los Angeles, California, is testing the bounds of believability. Kaye’s character took an initial trip out of town to decide which woman he wanted to supposedly be with forever.

The real truth is that Ridge, Brooke, and Taylor are equally responsible for the triangle they created. Blaming Ridge for the rivalry Brooke and Taylor had with each other would be as wrong as only blaming Brooke or choosing to believe that Taylor was the source of everyone’s problems.

This version of California includes characters who sometimes go too hard on themselves. Alternatively, and in this instance, Brooke and Taylor decided to pick a target, Ridge, and change their backstories to invent a reality where he controlled their actions. It would be just as wrong to say either lady or both controlled him.

B&B Spoilers – Paul Hollis Hollister In The Spotlight

It will be interesting to see if Chambers is being offered a moment in the daytime sun or if his character is elevated to recurring or regular player status. In either instance, it is good to see a hard-working actor, who has a varied resume in the business, step out of the background.

Brooke did not want to believe that Hollis liked her. But Taylor picked up on that and pushed Brooke to agree to have dinner with Hollis.

TPTB may be setting up Hollis as a foil who makes Ridge jealous upon his return. Alternatively, this might be Brooke’s first step in a post-Ridge romantic world.

Brooke and Taylor have been able to live in their new versions of reality because Ridge is not around. The test of their claimed new mutual path will come when the love of their life returns.

Fans are awaiting Ridge’s reaction to Brooke and Taylor’s friendship. If TPTB have split Ridge from the women he has loved most deeply, he will be forced to pursue new romantic options. That would be another test of Brooke and Taylor’s decision to remain Ridge-free indefinitely on B&B.
