Devoted fans recall the now infamous storyline that had a suffering Thomas believe a mannequin was Hope come to life. Noelle’s turn in that dual role was memorable, while Atkinson’s efforts were arguably worthy of a Daytime Emmy nomination.

Interestingly, TPTB continue to put Hope in Thomas’ path. She is, in effect, his best friend now that Vincent Walker (Joe LoCicero) is in purgatory. Yes, it is reasonable to believe that Thomas’ childhood friend did not cross through the Pearly Gates and also is not in the hot place because of his skewed view of reality.

Thomas sees Hope as a confidant. So, her awareness of Paris’ living arrangement is a purposeful part of this tale.

Zende told Paris that their lives would be changed by the time they spent together during a special night. He was right as they deepened their relationship.

The above indicates that Paris would not give Thomas the time of day. However, viewers have seen that she is fond of him. So the post-Pende connection will produce an effect that Thomas is sure to see.

Thomas is a lonely guy, which is fully soapy. The idea that someone like Thomas would only be interested in Hope is questionable.

The writing staff wrote Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) into Thomas’ life. She cared about him. But he used her to try and get back in with Hope.

Now, Zoe’s sister is being positioned as Thomas’ next romantic interest. Whether she falls for him and how Hope might help Thomas negotiate the problems that would result, due to Zende’s new relationship with Paris, is yet to be seen on B&B.
