CBS The Bold and The Beautiful’s Jacqueline MacInnes Wood never had a brother in real life but she’s got not just one but four ‘brothers’ in “The Bold and the Beautiful.” The actress has worked with four different actors who portrayed the role of her on-screen brother, Thomas Forrester. The latest one, Matthew Atkinson, is definitely different from the others and has something new to bring to the role.

“It’s wild when you think about how many ‘brothers’ I’ve had,” the actress said in an interview with Soaps In Depth. “But they’ve all brought something different to the role,” he continued.

Fans know that Atkinson’s version of Thomas is more villainous and has done a lot of terrible things than his predecessors.

“He definitely brings something different and edgy to the part,” Wood said.

“This is one of the darker Thomases we’ve seen, and it does make it interesting. It’s been great working with him, and getting to breathe some new life into their relationship is fun!” she added.

Patrick Dorn was the first one to play the role of Thomas from 2002-2003. He was then followed by Drew Tyler Bell from 2004-2010, Adam Gregory from 2010 to 2014, and Pierson Fode from 2015-2018.

“The Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers hint that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will return home after his self-imposed exile. He’ll have to work really hard if he wants to earn back the trust of his father Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). He’ll have to make things right with him no matter what.

Unlike before, Thomas is sincere in his desire to be a new man this time around. He’ll try to earn his father’s forgiveness while trying to earn the trust of others as well. He also wants to find the right woman for him although his efforts will be met with skepticism at first.
