Katie’s recent conversations with Eric Forrester (John McCook) could imply that this couple will form, even though Queric is reuniting. However, TPTB could be demonstrating that Katie has other options, with Eric being one of them.

Tom’s character is smart, dynamic, and highly appealing. But Katie lacks self-confidence at times. She needs a man who cherishes her, as Eric suggested.

Maybe that man will be a surprisingly reformed Bill? But it would be intriguing if B&B paired Katie with an existing, available character, brought someone back from her past, or invented a new character who serves as a new love match.
