The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers tease that in Los Angeles Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is not buying Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) drastic change, and tries to convince Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline Macinnes Wood) that he’s faking!

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Liam Has A Suspicious And Skeptical Nature

Viewers have to admit that Liam does seem to have a suspicious and skeptical nature. He was very suspicious and skeptical of Dr. John Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) medical skills, motives, and ethics when he started treating Steffy and was making house calls. It took a lot for Finn to convince him that he had Steffy’s best interests at heart, even before he initiated the intervention and the time in rehab that got Steffy (Jacqueline Macinnes Wood) unhooked from her pain pills.

After much effort, he finally has Liam’s (Scott Clifton) trust around Steffy and little Kelly Spencer (Colette and Avalon Gray). If Liam is that suspicious of someone he hasn’t even gotten to know very well, we know how he is concerning Thomas, who he has seen commit dastardly deeds many times before! Both Steffy and Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) have tried to assure him that Thomas has been working hard on his behavior, and has changed, and is no longer dangerous.

But Liam will always go to the worst-case scenario where Thomas is concerned! In this way, he is a lot like his mother-in-law, Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang). She was upset that Thomas was even in the same building as Hope at work and was also convinced that his designs showed evil ulterior motives towards her daughter!

B&B Spoilers – Thomas Forrester Is Struggling With Himself Unbeknownst To Anyone Else

What no one knows except Thomas, is that he is struggling with himself. Finn noticed something was off when he told him Hope was sending him signals, and he had addressed this also with Liam and Steffy. Liam went to the worst-case scenario over the Hope mannequin, assuming Thomas was lusting over it and pretending it was his wife Hope, but nothing can be further from the truth. It is not a behavioral problem with Thomas this time – it is a mental or possibly physical one.

He is showing signs of a brain tumor or possibly full-blown schizophrenia with delusions, although that doesn’t give one headache! Thomas is not faking – but if he spirals to the point where he cannot distinguish what is real, or fight off the auditory hallucinations of the mannequin voicing commands, yes, indeed, he could be very dangerous!

However, Liam is correct in trying to convince Steffy, and Hope, that there is something wrong with Thomas and his behavior. He means well, and it comes out of wanting to protect them, but in this case, he is wrong about Thomas faking. Thomas cannot help what is happening to him and it is he who needs a medical or psychiatric intervention now!
