John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) magically appeared at the foot of Steffy’s bed one day, and the arc of Wood’s character shifted. Fans instantly recognized that these characters were destined to fall in love. They did, with a child and marriage following.

Fans who longed for Steffy to make a complete break from Liam cheered while Novlan’s character was alive. They wept when he died, partially because they fear Steffy will come to rely on Liam again.

Hope has matured significant in recent years. Part of the reason for her growth includes not fighting with Steffy for Liam’s devotion.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Liam Spencer Must Set Limits

One way Liam could set limits on how much he does for Steffy, specifically, is by having Hope accompany him to the cliff house whenever possible. Also, having Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) dropped off at the cabin rather than him picking her up at the cliff house would help to avoid unintended situations.

Steffy is vulnerable. Liam is someone who has often been there for her during downtimes in the past. In this one, Liam must be careful not to allow himself to lead Steffy into believing they have a connection that goes beyond parenthood. Hope strongly agrees with that perspective.
