Fans recently watched as Thomas and Hope went on a business trip together. Liam acted like he trusted Hope’s decision to bring Thomas along on this trip. Of course, Liam didn’t have much time to react as the trip came up suddenly.

When Trevor (Ryan Stroud), the Forrester pilot, announced there was a mechanical problem, the flight was delayed. Thomas scrambled to find a solution while Hope kept Liam updated with phone calls and text messages. However, Liam was venting to Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) and Steffy.

Is it possible that Liam had Trevor keep an eye on Thomas and Hope on the business trip? Was the mechanical problem just an excuse to see if Thomas would make a move on Hope?

Scheming isn’t like Liam, but he is a desperate man on a mission. If Hope and Steffy won’t listen to Liam, then he could resort to entrapping Thomas. In Liam’s mind, if “Thrope” is caught together, then Thomas can be fired permanently. If Liam is behind Trevor’s weird behavior, then he didn’t get the ammunition he needed. Although Hope is flirting, she actually hasn’t done anything wrong yet.

Liam’s plan might backfire in more ways than one. Right now, Steffy will blame Hope if Thomas backslides. If Liam schemes to prove Thomas hasn’t changed, then Steffy’s fury could turn toward her ex. Plus, Hope will explode over Liam not trusting her.
