The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers and updates tease that Steffy Forrester-Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) tells the family to lie if you have to, anything to make grandpa happy! Even if they have to pretend and withhold information that Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) dying they don’t want to upset him.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Getting Ready To Throw A Gala

Grandpa Eric decides he’s going to throw a gala to celebrate his grand finale line and its success, and invite family members who haven’t been home in a while.

One will be local, namely his daughter with Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones). She works at the same hospital John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) but hasn’t been home for a while, right before Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) left.

Thorne Forrester (Winsor Harmon) is a definite, he also hasn’t been at home in a while-several years ago when he and Katie Logan (Heather Tom) were still together. It’s not certain if Felicia Forrester (Leslie Kay) or the other Forrester children will be able to attend or not.

B & B Spoilers – The Family Members In The Know Must Respect Eric Forrester’s Wishes

Steffy, Finn, Ridge Forrester, (Thorsten Kaye) Brooke, Hope Logan, (Annika Noelle) and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) all know but weren’t supposed to. Katie found out accidentally and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) also knows.

Steffy calls everyone together and reiterates the importance of no one else finding out Eric is dying and keeping him from knowing that they know-other than Katie, he knows she knows.

It may be difficult to keep the truth from the others, especially Bridget, who may quickly notice something is wrong with Eric, since she is a doctor and is trained.

Basically, this party and the events leading up to it as family members come in, is going to be zip your lip and make sure your tongue doesn’t trip and say anything!

Eric will be the great pretender, pretending nothing is wrong but everyone who’s around him for very long can tell he’s starting to weaken.

It will soon be much more obvious Eric is very ill, according to Finn, who looked at his case for Steffy when she was upset.

The family resolves to focus on Eric and his legacy and who he is, not what he has. The most important thing right now is to make sure that Eric is happy.
