The Bold and the Beautiful spoiler show that the truth about Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) fake CPS phone call is out in the world, and it has caused Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) to rethink his marriage to Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen). Thomas’s plan had almost succeeded until he started running his mouth about what he had done.
Now, The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Ridge has gone and tried apologizing to Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) about what happened and how he believed she had made the call and the fallout from the lie is going to spread far. Not only has Ridge’s relationship been ruined by this, but now their entire family is going to be pointing fingers at Thomas, from his sister Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) to his own son, Douglas Forrester (Henry Samiri)!
The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Star Matthew Atkinson Speaks To Soap Opera Digest About The Fallout
It looks like Thomas is going to be placing the blame on his sister and trying to use her as a scapegoat. Matthew Atkinson said to Soap Opera Digest, “Steffy said they needed to get their parents together by any means necessary and for a while, Thomas was hesitant to do that.”
Oh boy, here comes the ‘it wasn’t me’ act. He is going to claim that he was just going to do the right thing for his sister and family and if it wasn’t for Steffy’s constant pressure he would have never gone through with it, to begin with. Sure, Thomas. Let’s see how far that gets you.
B&B Spoilers – Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) Puts The Blame On Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood)!
Atkinson continued to say, “He was actually taking a backseat to what Steffy was doing. Then, the situation arose where Brooke threatened to call CPS on him. She spend the last six months talking about how he hasn’t changed at all, and every person gets to a breaking point and that was Thomas’s.”
However, Atkinson claims that Thomas knows what he did was wrong… but that he did it for the right reason. Sometimes, it’s okay to lie if the outcome is for something good. “In his mind, he did something wrong but for the right reason, which is to have his family back together again. But he later came to know it was a bad decision.”
That seems like something you should just know not to do, especially as an adult! Can you imagine if it had been Douglas who made the call after hearing his father and grandmother arguing at some point? Then, it might have been a different story and there would be an important lesson for a child to learn. Thomas is not a child, and he should have absolutely known what he was doing.
What do you think? Should Thomas have known better? And if an adult can’t act right, how does his own child know the difference between right and wrong? Share your thoughts and remember to keep watching the CBS soap to see what happens next.
