The truth is Carter would have given up the dreams of being a father for Quinn. When they ended their relationship, Carter didn’t get his needed closure. If Quinn reached out to him, he would want to speak with her. It could spell big trouble for Katie and Carter’s romance.

When Rena Sofer left B&B, she didn’t seem interested in returning to the soap opera. She wasn’t happy with the writing for Quinn and decided not to sign another contract. It would be surprising to see her return, but it could happen. She could return for a slight arc just to give Carter the closure he needs to move forward completely with Katie.

It would be irresponsible of Katie not to consider Carter’s attachment to Quinn when taking the next steps in her relationship with him. She spent years with Bill waffling between her and Brooke. She should cover her bases before leaping into a lifelong commitment with Carter.
