So, Eric probably expects Quinn to ask for some kind of payoff — he just doesn’t know how much. Of course, Ridge and Brooke, as well as everyone else is probably predicting Quinn will want a sizable chunk. After all, they were married for several years. However, it is teased that Quinn will end up leaving Eric flabbergasted.

When Eric found out about “Quarter,” he kicked Quinn to the curb immediately. He wanted nothing to do with her and was filled with rage. Eric is usually a patient, fair and understanding man. However, as Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz) recently explained, that doesn’t mean Eric is a pushover.

Meanwhile, Eric wanted Carter to stay at Forrester Creations. He is too valuable to both Eric and the company. He did set some ground rules, though, one of which was that Carter could not see Quinn anymore.

Quinn could want Forrester Creations to buy her out. Eric wasn’t thrilled with keeping the jewelry line. Carter explained that if the contract expired, then the company would lose millions each year. A simple solution would be for the company to buy out Quinn. FC would have the rights and wouldn’t have to deal with her anymore. It isn’t about money, it’s about independence and freedom.

Another possibility is that Quinn wants to make things easier for Carter. Could she agree to walk away with nothing if Eric revises the COO’s second chance conditions? He wouldn’t flaunt his relationship in the office, of course. However, what the lawyer does on his personal time is his personal business. Who Carter sleeps with shouldn’t be a condition of employment. It could be Quinn’s way of repaying Carter for saving her jewelry line.
