Earlier this year, it was confirmed that Kaye will be taking several months off from the soap. The actor wants to spend quality time with his family. There are a lot of ways that Ridge’s exit could be written.
One possibility is that Ridge tries to kill Deacon and gets arrested for attempted murder. However, when he comes back, will Brooke have a change of heart? Will Hope see that she can have her mother and father, but that doesn’t mean they need to be together?
