The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) senses that something is off with his father. He also suspects that his son, RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) is protecting Eric Forrester (John McCook).

Ridge is right in both instances. Eric has been sick for a while and RJ has recently learned about that crisis.

Dr. Colin Colby’s (Justiin Davis) diagnosis furthered the plot without initially providing the audience with explicit details. So, Eric is now known to be dying.

In the real world, Eric’s malady would lead to a probable rapid decline and then death. But in this version of Los Angeles, California, where magical events happen when needed, Eric’s legacy can go well beyond the fashion challenge.

Eric does not know that he is part of a soapy world. So, he intends to use the competition with Ridge as his last hurrah.

The worsening of Eric’s condition led Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) to summon Eric’s concierge doctor. While it took some time, a firm diagnosis appears to be had.

A misdiagnosis could allow for a reprieve. But if Eric’s predicament is truly dire, then miracle drugs or treatments could always be ahead.

BB Spoilers – RJ Forrester Sees The Light

RJ spoke with deep awe when talking with his parents about what it has been like to work with his grandfather. Ridge and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) beamed with pride and appreciation, as their only child is in the early stages of developing his artistic gift.

Learning at the foot of a master is a mystical experience. RJ’s description of the process, relating it to light, provided a meaningful visual for the audience.

But RJ is shouldering a heavy burden in knowing that Eric is ill and in being sworn to secrecy about it. He, like his parents, will soon learn what the dire diagnosis is.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Ridge Forrester Adjusts The Format

Ridge told RJ that he did not change the rules of the fashion showdown. Kaye’s character wanted to create fair rules.

So, rather than having a select group of Forrester Creations friends, who will be buyers, know about Eric’s self-proclaimed last collection, Ridge will present all the creations as one. Doing so will give his designs a fair shake and not afford Eric the heartstrings runway advantage on B&B.
