The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) suspicions are on target. Yes, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) was involved in Brooke Logan Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) night of drinking. But Brooke was responsible for what happened, as she said.
It will be impossible for Brooke to decipher what happened on that manipulated New Year’s Eve night. Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) concocted a scenario that played out exactly as she hoped, with Deacon becoming an unwitting participant in an event he had no hand in creating.
Dedicated daytime viewers sense the setup. Deacon will appear guilty of feeding Brooke alcohol because of his job at Il Giordino and his presence at her home on the last night of the year.
The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Into New Year’s Morning Together
At this point in the plot, Brooke and Deacon are the only people who know that he returned to the Logan mansion after leaving earlier. Kanan’s character forgot his phone, retrieved it, then noticed that Brooke seemed off.
She was buzzed after unknowingly drinking alcohol that she thought was non-alcoholic champagne. Her state of mind enabled rounds of shots with Deacon that she suggested. Of course, he has a history of trouble with alcohol as well.
Deacon did not supply Brooke with alcohol. But he was fully coherent until the vodka competition began. That is on him, as he will sorely come to regret.
B&B Spoilers – Douglas Forrester’s Witness Matters
Douglas Forrester (Henry Samiri) should not have snuck out of the cabin and gone to his grandmother’s main house. He smiled when seeing Brooke kissing a man in a red hat, believing it was Santa Claus.
The witness to Brooke and Deacon’s kiss was certainly written into the plot for later use. While Douglas’ tell to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) was shrugged off as nonsense, it stands to become a crucial piece of evidence that leads to the major reveal.
Tying Deacon to Brooke’s night of drinking also means that his stay-over will be confirmed as well.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Brooke Logan Forrester Missed An Opportunity
Brooke’s actions were misguided. But if she told Ridge the whole truth, then Sheila’s eventually exposed actions would have been able to paint Brown’s character as the only villain.
However, Brooke used her free will by choosing to keep Deacon’s involvement and presence through the next morning from Ridge and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle).
Hope thought her mother’s change of heart about Deacon was confusing. Yes, Brooke is on borrowed time, as the clock ticks on Ridge’s trust being broken.

Brooke was not responsible for anything that happened New Year's Eve, but she is guilty of lying. Waking up, seeing Deaon in her bed is more than enough to drive her insane. The whole truth should have been told to Ridge because she did not remember how she even got upstairs. Ridge would have been rightly upset and blamed Deacon for what happened. Deacon is to blame because he had no right going up to Brooke's bedroom. He is a horrible person.
