Royal Family News: Kate Middleton Brought Warring Princes Together After Oprah Interview

British royal family news reveals that Prince Harry angered and alienated his family with his infamous Oprah Winfrey interview in March of 2021, to the point that Prince William did not want to make a scheduled appearance with him.

According to one insider, William’s animosity toward Harry nearly derailed their joint unveiling of a statue dedicated to their late mother Princess Diana.

One insider told The Times that William had to be talked down by his wife Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge: “[She] was amazing behind the scenes when Harry came.”

Harry and his wife Meghan dropped their patented “truth bombs” during the interview, many of which have been shown to be false. Meghan made it a point to slam Kate with a bullying name, and claimed that her SIL, “made her cry.” That was not the narrative told many times over however, instead it was widely reported that Meghan was the one who brought Kate to tears prior to the former abandoning the monarchy.

In April Harry returned to the UK to attend his grandfather Prince Philip’s funeral; Meghan declined to face the royals she trashed to Oprah. At the funeral it was Kate who, “was the first member of the family to be seen chatting to him – and was even spotted holding back in a bid to reunite him with brother, Prince William,” according to the Daily Mail.

According to an inside source, “Kate had acted as a ‘peacemaker’ with Harry during the period, with another adding: ‘[William] has had a year from hell and she has been fantastic supporting him.”

Meghan Markle Subject To Investigation

By the time the unveiling ceremony rolled around on July 1, it was reported that the, “brothers were said to have barely spoken and had an ‘incredibly strained’ relationship after two years of rows over Harry’s wife and her alleged treatment of staff.” Meghan continues to be the subject of an ongoing palace investigation into her bullying of staff aides. Her response? She claims the investigation is a, “calculated smear campaign.”
