The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) is shifting into overdrive. She has begun to perform major psychological surgery on her son, Doctor John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).

Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is imploring her new husband to see the truth. But he can not because Sheila’s manipulative mind games are overwhelming at this point in the plot. Finn’s lack of experience with his mother makes him fully vulnerable to her attacks.

The pull of Finn’s birth mother’s perceived love was cemented when he reached for her hand as Sheila lay in perfect health in her Los Angeles, California, hospital bed. Steffy stood witness to the grand performance, while Sheila was unable to conceal sinister joy from appearing on her villainous face.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Kudos To One Of The Greats

Fans of any iconic soap, meaning all of the remaining four broadcast network steamers, or beloved serials from the past know greatness when they see it. Sheila is, without a reasonable argument, one of the greatest villains that this genre has ever produced.

Sheila and the actor who portrays her were seen as so terrific that this character was tapped to crossover from one soap to its sister steamer in the early 1990s. Several cross-backs have occurred between The Young and the Restless, where Sheila first debuted in 1990, and B&B, where she first appeared in 1992.

Brown’s performances have earned some nominations and two Soap Opera Digest awards through the years. But she has only been nominated for one Daytime Emmy award (1993). An easy projection sees another coming next year for the work that began this summer. Her first statue will hopefully follow.

B&B Spoilers – Steffy Forrester Feels Control Slipping

Steffy found the next man of her dreams. Finn is not an anti-Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). But he is different.

The extended arc that had Steffy caught in a continuous battle for Liam with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) ended the moment Wood’s character saw Finn’s face after her motorcycle accident. The compelling pain-killer arc served to fuse Steffy and Finn’s connection. Next came Hayes Forrester Finnegan (Samantha Worden and Piper Harriet) and the Sinn wedding.

The Forrester family’s lives were destabilized the instant Finn brought Sheila to the reception. Novlan’s character had no idea who he let in the door during the pivotal scene.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – John Finn Finnegan Can’t Turn Away

Finn has naturally wondered about his birth mother since his parents told him he was adopted. The audience knows that Jack Finnegan (Ted King) is withholding a paternity bombshell. That eventual reveal will further fragment the Finnegan clan.

As for Steffy, Finn can not see that Sheila wants him to see his wife as the villain. But that approach is what created the legend.

Sheila’s game has not changed. Her new targets are Finn and Hayes, while her old nemeses remain the Forrester’s on B&B.
