The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Some Scripts ‘Reworked’ To Accommodate COVID-19 Rules - Details HERE!CBS The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers and updates reveal B&B is the first soap to resume production. However, there are certain safety protocols that will need to be adhered to. One interesting tidbit that we discovered is that some scripts had to be “reworked” to accommodate the new safety measures. Find out more about what to expect as filming restarts and what changes we might see in new episodes.

Shorter Days and Staggered Times

B&B is back in business! While a few cast members have gone to the set, including Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan Forrester) and Don Diamont (Bill Spencer), filming doesn’t technically start until Wednesday, June 17. There are certain safety measures that must be followed in order for the soap to film again.

According to Deadline, one of these includes shorter days for cast members. In addition, the actors will have staggered calling times to reduce the number of people on set at one time. Plus, everyone on the cast and crew will be required to wear a face mask. The only exception will be when the actors are filming scenes.

B&B Has COVID-19 Coordinator On Set

The publication also reported that the soap will have a COVID-19 coordinator on set at all times. This person’s job is to make sure that all the safety protocols are being followed. It sounds like a good idea and could prevent future problems by unintentional mistakes or someone forgetting a rule.

Some Scripts ‘Reworked’

It was also stated that some of the scripts had to be “reworked” in order to accommodate the new rules. No additional details were provided on which storylines could have possible changes. However, The Bold and the Beautiful fans are just looking forward to finally getting new episodes in the near future.

“Everyone will work shorter days with staggered call times and a smaller amount of cast on set at one time. To accommodate that, some of the scripts that had been already in the can were reworked.”

The Bold and the Beautiful: How Will It Affect New Episodes?

Social distancing is most likely something that will be in effect to a certain degree. Remember the big celebration of Brooke and Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) reunion? We probably won’t be seeing much of those. This is not just due to social distancing but it would probably cause too many cast members on set at once. So, we will likely not see too many characters on screen in the same scenes.

However, we doubt the changes will be so huge that storylines won’t make sense. It was stated that some scripts were “reworked,” not scrapped. Plus, there are a lot of creative ways to work around that with camera tricks, modern equipment, and technology.
