Even though this would take a while to find out in real life, soap time can go as slowly or quickly as writers want. With the actress going on maternity leave soon, we hopefully will find out soon enough. However, a big clue might have been dropped.

On Tuesday’s episode, Steffy and Finn were talking about the pregnancy and paternity issue. During the conversation, Finn referred to the baby as “she.” Now, this might have just been a way to avoid calling the child “it.” Not knowing the gender yet, it’s impossible to always remember to call it “the baby” or “he or she.” Sometimes, expectant parents will use “he” more often than “she” and vice versa. However, the Facebook page Queen Steffy Forrester B&B suggests it could have been a script slip!

“Today, Finn referred to the baby as being a ‘sister’ for Kelly. Is that a hint that our Sinn-A-Bun is a baby girl? Or was it just a slip up in the writing room? I am still rooting for a boy…”

B&B Spoilers – What Fans Think

Fans are divided on what gender they want the baby to be. Some would love to see Steffy have a little boy this time. Others think she should have a girl. There are even a few who are predicting twins! This could happen because Steffy is a twin and they do run in families. As for who the baby daddy is, most “Lope” and “Sinn” fans can agree for different reasons that it should be Finn’s baby. However, there are few remaining diehard “Steam” fans who are convinced it’s Liam’s child. To find out, we will have to keep watching the CBS soap.
