The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) told Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) something he is not used to hearing. His assumption of having free range at the cliff house, now that his son has moved in with the Finnegans, was shut down. Thomas reacted, firing back at his sister. That is Thomas, childish and threatening if he does not get his way.

Atkinson’s character behaves far more like Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) than her son, John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan). Brown’s character, like Thomas, assumes that she will get her way, and if not, Steffy will pay.

Thomas has not learned to be a real father to Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri). He plays more of the friend game, which is often a sign of someone who lacks emotional maturity. Douglas has never needed Thomas to be his friend. The loss of Caroline Spencer (Linsey Godfrey) meant that Thomas was his surviving biological parent. Thankfully, Thomas is not bereft of logic and returned home to Los Angeles, California, from New York.

Four real-world calendar years passed since Douglas was brought home. Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) took responsibility for him, while Thomas repeatedly realized that he needs help raising his son.

Hope is blaming herself, as a humble soul would do. She talked with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) after they took Douglas to the cliff house. Liam tried to assure Hope that Douglas did not ask Steffy to be his guardian because of anything she did wrong. Noelle’s character was not convinced.

Douglas also spoke with Hope before moving in with Steffy and Finn. He reinforced that he did not want his adoptive mother to be sad. Douglas was trying to avoid continued tension between Hope and his father.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers show Steffy has the ability and family background to stymie Thomas.
