The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Tanner Novlan Goes Back To His Commercial Roots, “Liberty Biberty!”

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that fans have become accustomed to seeing Tanner Novlan as John “Finn” Finnegan on the CBS sudser. But before that, he was known to audiences as the hilariously bad actor in a 2019 Liberty Mutual commercial.

The handsome and talented actor just returned to his roots and we are here for it! Keep reading to find out what Novlan is doing while his B&B character is a little sidelined with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) in Europe.

Ironically, tons of soap fans thought that Novlan would be perfect for daytime based on his hilarious commercial. Well, they may just have willed that wish into existence!

Some actors dislike becoming associated with a character or show, but Novlan told Soaps in Depth in 2020 that he loves the notoriety the goofy commercial brought him: “When something like that happens, it doesn’t happen as often as it used to, so I’ve been enjoying every minute of it.”

Apparently his B&B co-stars have fun with the spot as well, as Novlan mentioned that if he misses his lines, “they really know what to expect. It’s what they hired!”

You know the saying, “When something works, don’t fix it!” This is the case with Novlan’s instantly recognizable commercial, and so Liberty Mutual decided to feature the daytime hunk in a brand-new ad.

The actor alerted fans to the news with an IG Story saying “We are back baby!!! Liberty Biberty” along with the commercial.

In case you missed the iconic commercials, the insurance company has a running gag with a humorous but inept spokesman named Doug (David Hoffman), plus his mascot LiMu Emu.

In the newest commercial Doug is rehearsing his lines and discovers a piano will be dropped on his head. Novlan then pops up and repeats his infamous “Liberty Biberty” plus calls LiMu “Beboo.”

Liberty Mutual got in on the fun with a YouTube page captioned: “There’s a new Doug in town. And he can’t even say the company name. This might be a problem.”
