The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers and updates tease that Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) will be emotional about keeping Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) secret. She is torn with regret over not telling Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) before the wedding, but she was afraid of the aftermath and torn between father and son.

It was Taylor who had counseled her son long-distance when he tried to free himself from his obsessive and manipulative ways. True, there was some part of his warped thinking that had physical causes due to an aneurysm pressing in his brain, causing him to lose touch with reality. Thomas was very confused when he thought the Hope for the Future mannequin, which was made to look like Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) really was her.

But Thomas had come a long way – realizing that he was reading Hope wrong when he tried to kiss her on showstopper night. He also caught himself from going any further, reminding himself she’s married; previously, he wouldn’t have cared.

B & B Spoilers: Taylor Hayes Wanted To Believe

Taylor wanted to believe, both that Thomas was healed and no longer the lying manipulator he once was, and that Ridge really loved her and wanted to marry her. He had claimed that the CPS call he previously thought had been made by Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) had no bearing on their reunion and he’d chosen her.

But yet when Taylor learned it was Thomas, again manipulating through faking Brooke’s voice on the call, she was afraid Ridge would return to Brooke when he found out. And that is exactly what happened, he left her standing at the altar and rushed to make up with Brooke; again the waffler waffled again. But would it really have made any difference if Taylor had told Ridge before the ceremony-probably not, he would have run back to Brooke!

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Taylor Hayes Torn With Regret

Taylor remains torn with regret, both over not telling Ridge before the wedding, and torn over not seeing the signs her son was not as healed as she’d hoped. She refuses to abandon Thomas in his despair the way the rest of the family has, because she doesn’t want him with no support. Taylor will always believe Thomas can do better, but she realizes there is still healing needed.

She won’t abandon her son in his time of need, but she will perhaps not be so blinded to his manipulations. As for herself, she will remain firm that Ridge must prove he really loves her and her alone before she would even think about taking him back.
