In the September 12 episode, Taylor confronted Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) about her growing frustration with Hope’s choice to kiss John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).

Beyond her irritation, Taylor voiced her worries regarding the underlying reasons for Hope’s erratic behavior.

Noting the ongoing rivalry between Hope and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Taylor highlighted a troubling trend in Hope’s romantic decisions.

She has been involved with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), then Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), and now she seems to be pursuing Finn, all of whom have connections to Steffy. It would seem that Hope can’t keep herself away from Steffy’s men!

There are several perspectives to consider here; it’s possible that Hope is deliberately trying to undermine Steffy, but that seems improbable since she doesn’t appear to be strategizing.

She certainly didn’t anticipate Thomas’ departure, either-it’s also feasible that these events are occurring by chance, but that too feels unlikely.

As a psychologist, Taylor might have sensed something that Finn has also picked up on: there’s something off with Hope. Finn noticed how her migraines affected her and attempted to support her, which inadvertently intensified her feelings for him-he remains unaware of this, of course.

Right now, Hope seems unable to rein in her emotions, regardless of how often she’s advised that chasing after Finn is not a viable path.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Could Hope Have A Brain Tumor Or Aneurysm?

Viewers should remember how Thomas was affected by a brain aneurysm, which Finn wound up removing, after Hope had found Thomas unconscious, but Thomas hadn’t mentioned his headaches.

Could the same or a similar thing be happening to Hope-it’s surprising Finn hasn’t already brought up that possibility, but admittedly, he has a lot of other things on his mind. Perhaps Hope isn’t acting out of choice, but rather due to an inability to control her impulses.

We can only wish that Brooke remains vigilant over her daughter in the weeks ahead, as Hope seems to be digging herself into a deeper predicament with each day that passes. But if there’s a tumor or aneurysm in the impulse control center of the brain, it may not entirely be her doing, and only the proper tests will reveal the problem.
