The actress was asked about the real reason Hope can’t let go of Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). She explained that it has everything to do with Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang). B&B spoilers reveal that Hope was devastated when she found out that Liam slept with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Then, her world continued crashing around her when she learned about Steffy’s pregnancy and not being sure who fathered the unborn baby. This week, we are going to see the paternity results and it will show that Liam is the father. Before, she was conflicted about leaving but this could make her even more certain that she can’t stay married to him. According to a new interview, though, it seems that Hope will continue to be torn, but it doesn’t have anything to do with family or Liam.

As we have seen, Liam has begged for Hope’s forgiveness. He has struggled to try and make it up to her and repair their fractured relationship. This will continue when Hope cries in agony after learning Liam is the father of Steffy’s baby.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers from the new issue of Soap Opera Digest reveal that actress Annika Noelle was asked about Hope’s turmoil. She explained that Brooke is a large part of why she’s so torn between staying and going. She is apparently terrified of becoming just like her mother.

The soap star also mentioned that Hope has a lot of childhood trauma from the war between Brooke, Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo), and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). It seems that watching that growing up had a profound effect on Hope and how she handles her current relationship.

“Part of the reason she’s clinging to it is because she doesn’t want to be her mom. There’s some past inherited trauma from watching the strife between Brooke, Ridge, and Taylor for all those years, and Hope is in denial that it’s now happening to her.”

Now that Hope knows she loves Liam but deep down inside she knows he loves Steffy too just look how he reacted to Steffy and Finn relationship. Not only that but he chose to believe the worse and it's because Thomas was right all along and if Hope got with Thomas she would never have to worry about him and another woman.
Hope deserves whatever she gets. It may sound harsh but look at all the times she listened to her mom and Hope interfered with Steffy and Liam she was smooth about it. Liam may love Hope but I think he's in love with Steffy.
Thomas would not treat her anything like Liam treats Hope or Steffy.
That's true. They both needs to move on from Liam. Hes not going to ever commit to either one, no matter how many babies they spit out.
I wish the baby had of been Finn’s. To have Liam be the Father just makes me feel bad for Steffy as she will be caught in the crossfire all over again.

Hope deserves everything she gets from Liam. Sad but true. Both Hope and Steffy need to send Liam on his way far away from them. He treats them like crap. He wants both whenever he wants them and it's not fair to them. Let him be alone!
I hope Hope an Steffy kick him to the curb. He can't be faithful to either one of them. Time for him to work in another country.

I know Hope do not want to be nothing like her mother and Hope Can see Steffy.already and to her mother so she is very much in love with her husband and Liam knows Steffy will always be there with her door wide open here with no clothes I’m waiting for. That’s why an Hoe does that
I truly understand why Hope is feeling the way she feels. Living in your mother's bad shadow is not good. Another reason for Hope to become an independent, successful business woman on her own. Her mom is still having to deal with the fact that she has children by too many different men. Each child has a different father. If you think living like that is easy, ask me it is NOT. Every child in one family with a different father, that is OLD. The new normal is now that women don't keep it in the family they move on. Do you all realize that all the siblings in the Forrest/Logan family are relatives. Come on, nobody give this new generation a break with new partners outside the family.
I wish the baby was Finn’s but with these writers. Steffy needs to put her foot down and close her legs to Leim. If she really wants a relationship with Finn. Take picture down put in baby’s room and change locks on door.
Hope needs to be honest with Brooke and tell her how she feels and why she is the way she is. She also needs to get her own home. Brooke needs to look at the harm her life style has caused her kids. Speaking of kids what happened to her sons?
Leim needs to grow up.
When Hope broke down after hearing the results of the paternity test I thought to myself, well now she know how Steffy felt when she had sex and got pregnant with Beth.
It is Finn’s but someone changed the paternity test. Maybe Vinny!
But it will come out in months down the road.
It’s not all Liam’s fault. Steffy is the blame just as much. She could have stopped it. Her baby in real life is due in February. Steffy’s not so innocent from years gone by. She was always trying to mess with Liam & Hope.
