B&B spoilers reveal that Hope was devastated when she found out that Liam slept with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Then, her world continued crashing around her when she learned about Steffy’s pregnancy and not being sure who fathered the unborn baby. This week, we are going to see the paternity results and it will show that Liam is the father. Before, she was conflicted about leaving but this could make her even more certain that she can’t stay married to him. According to a new interview, though, it seems that Hope will continue to be torn, but it doesn’t have anything to do with family or Liam.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers from the new issue of Soap Opera Digest reveal that actress Annika Noelle was asked about Hope’s turmoil. She explained that Brooke is a large part of why she’s so torn between staying and going. She is apparently terrified of becoming just like her mother.

The soap star also mentioned that Hope has a lot of childhood trauma from the war between Brooke, Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo), and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). It seems that watching that growing up had a profound effect on Hope and how she handles her current relationship.

“Part of the reason she’s clinging to it is because she doesn’t want to be her mom. There’s some past inherited trauma from watching the strife between Brooke, Ridge, and Taylor for all those years, and Hope is in denial that it’s now happening to her.”
