The Bold And The Beautiful: Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson)The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) should have reported what Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) did on New Year’s Eve immediately after he forced her to divulge it. But he was conflicted, believing that keeping the real story about Brooke Logan Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) drinking from his father would further reconciliation efforts with Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen).

Sheila was angered by Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), which compelled her into admitting that she shot John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). But then Sheila revealed an earlier secret that she arguably did not ever need to tell.

Sheila went into great detail in telling her side of the story after the ugly truth was confirmed. Taylor’s turn against Sheila led her to reveal the champagne label switch.

Taylor watched in disgust as Sheila attempted to explain her manipulation of Brooke’s non-alcoholic bottles of champagne. Sheila even told Steffy that she knew what happened, which caused another memory breakthrough. In so doing, Steffy also mentioned the place her brother entered the story line.

It was Thomas’ smartphone conversation with Sheila that tipped Steffy off, sent her to Il Giardino, and resulted in her bullet wound and Finn’s death.

B&B Spoilers – Brooke Logan Forrester Could Have Been Defeated

Sheila was stunned and hurt by Taylor’s lack of appreciation for all that she did to help her reclaim a life with Ridge. Sheila also believes in her mind that she was helping what she now considers to be her family through Finn.

But this part of the plot is arguably questionable because Sheila’s silence on the label switch would have allowed her to at least defeat Brooke. So rather than keep Brooke thinking that she fell back into her dysfunctional pattern of sabotaging her many marriages to Ridge, Sheila exonerated her.

As hardcore fans recall and Brown’s dialogue reminded viewers, Brooke condescendingly told Sheila that she would block her from being involved with Finn and Hayes. Sheila was not going to let Brooke keep her from being with her son and grandson, with the champagne caper being successfully implemented.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Thomas Forrester Must Be Held To Account

Thomas was doing what he considered the right thing. Ridge and Taylor were stunned to hear the part he played in this tale.

After digesting all that happened, Thomas will hear from his parents. Their disappointment may lead to another period where he needs to re-establish trust, which has been a serious issue at multiple points in his life.

Thomas can not be held accountable for what Sheila did in the alley. But he must understand why withholding sensitive family information was wrong.
