Sometimes people exaggerate the subjective topic of respect. But this is not one of those instances in daytime.

Liam was being disrespectful to Hope by constantly badgering her when she was trying to keep her fashion line alive. His forbidding her to rehire Thomas came from a place of honesty. However, Hope was right to say that he did not trust her judgment.

Those who purely want to take Liam’s side may say that he was proven right because his warning was not heeded. But it can never be known what would have happened if Liam would have trusted his wife to do what was right rather than assuming she could not handle Thomas.

One of the more fantastical storylines in recent memory had Thomas believe that a mannequin was an alternate version of Hope.

The plastic version of Noelle’s character reappeared in recent months, shocking the real Hope when she spotted her or it, depending upon one’s soapy perspective.

To think that Thomas heard Hope say that she has had feelings for him for a while was incredible. That came days after she initiated kissing him twice on the streets of Rome.

But for Hope to tell Thomas that Liam decided to end their marriage and then for her to commit to him romantically at his new condominium was incredible. It may take time for Thomas to realize that he is living in the real world and not a dreamland. It appears that Liam’s real-life nightmare will continue on B&B.
