The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Thomas Manipulates Ridge Again – Logans and Forresters Take Sides

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) is acting earnestly on his grandson’s behalf. However, he’s doing so through a manipulated circumstance.

Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) appeared to go along with Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) request that he give up his son, Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri). Then, Atkinson’s brilliantly played devious character went directly to his dad and again presented the vulnerability card. He followed Ridge to Brooke Logan Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) home, where Hope and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) were discussing the custody issue as they entered.

The diabolical and seemingly momentary brilliance of Thomas’ act is that Ridge is now championing his cause. Desired dissension between the Forrester’s and Logan’s now exists.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Thomas Forrester Playing Shrewder Game

Thomas’ efforts to marry Hope and make her Douglas’ next mother succeed. But no one can consider his intentions, the energy expended, or the resulting fallout as being worth it.

Thope’s marriage was annulled soon thereafter. While Hope and Douglas’ bonded, as Thomas wanted, that connection is now being used as a wedge issue.

A recalculation took place after his miraculous survival from the cliff fall. Instead of changing his ways, Thomas decided to use Ridge as his front man to exact revenge on the Logan’s.

B&B Spoilers – Logan Family Makes Tactical Mistake

Brooke and Hope are fully sincere in their intent. They want Douglas to live in a safe environment, knowing that Thomas is not a stable influence.

However, if Brooke would have allowed her multiple time husband Ridge and Thomas to continue living at her home, she likely would have realized a long-sought goal. By keeping many eyes on Thomas, he probably would have made a tactical mistake at some point that would have been undeniable.

Instead, Brooke’s tactic in pushing ‘Lope’ as Douglas’ adoptive parents, makes her appear to be the manipulator. She and Hope are actually playing into Thomas’ hands.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Ridge Forrester Defending His Family

Ridge has come to see the Douglas issue as a family line Brooke crossed. While he was willing to tolerate her views about Thomas, considering what he’d done to Brooke’s daughter and to others, Ridge is not in agreement when it comes to her plans for his grandson.

The increasing tension between the Forrester and Logan families is exactly what Thomas hoped would happen. Whether Ridge is able to see what Thomas is doing in time to save Bridge and avoid the coming clash at Forrester Creations is one of the reasons why B&B fans will continue watching.
