‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Thomas Protects Steffy – Can He Be Redeemed?

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is currently Mr. Outcast in Los Angeles, California. He’s been missing since late April when B&B viewers saw him quickly leaving his grandfather’s house after humiliating himself.

Thomas’ complete lack of defenders was well-earned. He took advantage of his loved one’s trust, including that of Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). The obsession Atkinson’s character had with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) led to him lie to Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) about wanting to marry her and previously caused him to tailgate Emma Barber (Nia Sioux) off Mulholland Drive.

However, daytime offers unusual opportunities for redemption that wouldn’t be possible in the real world. So, Thomas can become Steffy’s savior if B&B decided to write him that way.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Hiding Out Nearby Or Far Away?

It’s anyone’s guess as to where Thomas has been living all these months. His childhood friend, Vincent Walker (Joe LoCicero), was one of the people who weren’t on board with the Thoe wedding scheme. But it’s possible that he’s been allowing Thomas to stay at his apartment because Vinny generally is with his girlfriend, who lives out of town.

If Thomas hasn’t been staying in LA, then he may have wandered to the coast in order to clear his head. His mother, Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo) was last known to be in Europe. She hadn’t abandoned him and would have been open to helping her son through this tough time.

But Taylor hadn’t contacted Ridge or Steffy about Thomas being with her. So, maybe that means he’s not.

B&B Spoilers – New Man In Steffy Forrester’s Life

Buzz indicates that a new man will be written into Steffy’s life as new episodes are broadcast, possibly as soon as this month. Assume she clicks with this new guy romantically and they quickly start a relationship.

If the above proves true, Wood’s character will have led with her heart. That means she wouldn’t have had time to get to know this seeming Mr. Right, which is where Mr. Outcast would arrive.

Thomas’ return, when it happens, will likely be played for maximum dramatic effect. Having him be the first person to learn that Steffy’s new man isn’t right would help to reverse Thomas’ position as the villain.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Moving From Attack To Defense

In this instance, Thomas would be telling the truth. His awareness of the new character’s negative attributes and push to get Steffy to see the truth wouldn’t be met with acceptance at the outset.

But time would vindicate Thomas’ efforts, allowing him to re-establish his place in the Forrester family. Steffy would eventually see that Thomas had her best interests at heart, so Ridge would as well.

The above is the type of scenario that will be needed in order to avoid marginalizing Thomas as a pure bad guy. Atkinson has strong acting chops and would be able to deliver in this type of compelling storyline.
