Another possibility is that it might have to do with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) asking Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) to give their marriage another chance.

      Thomas is a sociopath. He will kill if someone gets in his way. Notice that his lusting for Hope scenes are getting more frequent. He will want to hurry things along. Everyone in his orbit is in danger.
