The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) is unknowingly helping his dad to further an agenda. Reacting on pure emotion, that’s heart-breaking the viewers and for Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) to witness, Douglas is increasingly upset that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) appear to be growing closer.

It’s not that Douglas dislikes Barnes’ character, as he told Hope that he does like Zoe. But he fears that Hope’s presence as his mommy, as he calls her in Caroline Spencer’s (Linsey Godfrey) permanent absence, will come to an end if Thomas and Zoe become a couple.

Thomas told Douglas that he loves Hope, while the Forrester men were having a private discussion at Forrester Creations. It was the middle of the workday, so Douglas likely was allowed to leave the daycare area when he tried to open a locked door.

Atkinson’s character was embracing Zoe, while they kissed, when Douglas arrived, tried to enter, and asked why he couldn’t. Douglas then questioned Zoe and again demonstrated that he’s not interested in bonding with her.

What Thomas is doing to Douglas and the manner in which he’s trying to pursue Hope doesn’t represent love.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Vincent Walker Trying To Dissuade Friend

Vincent Walker (Joe LoCicero) is disgusted with his friend. He can’t believe that Thomas continues using Douglas to try and make inroads with Hope, but the pattern is seen last year persists.

Thomas counters Vinny’s suggestions by saying that Douglas will benefit in the end. Since Thomas hasn’t been able to convince Hope to care about him, Douglas’ bond might prove to be fruitful.

Considering recent developments, Thomas’ efforts in using Douglas appear to be working. Hope isn’t naive to what’s happening, or to history, but seems to be more tolerant of Thomas in recent weeks.

Douglas isn’t the only person who’s being used. Zoe is as well.

It’s true that Thomas told Vinny he would stay with Zoe if Hope doesn’t change her stance toward him. But Barnes’ character is clearly Thomas’ second choice and fallback option.

Zoe’s direct question to Thomas about what their future might be was answered with a lie. He said that Hope is in his past.

However it happens, Zoe is bound to learn the truth. When and how she does clearly could create danger for Thomas, which is something he doesn’t seem to be considering.
